  • December 6 Holiday Party for members at The Village Squire restaurant in Crystal Lake, 12:30pm
  • January meeting will be an all day open sew-in, 9am-5pm, location to be announced.
  • Meeting plans for all of 2016 are almost finalized and will be published soon!

Jeni Baker is coming to visit - October Meeting Reminder

Our next monthly meeting will be held Sunday, October 11 from 1:00-4:00pm at our usual location (see the map on the right sidebar).  CLMQG members are free; guests are $5.

Our very special guest speaker that day will be

Jeni has designed several fabric collections for Art Gallery, written many patterns and tutorials, and just published a quilting book!  She teaches quilting classes at The Sewcial Lounge in Madison, WI, at Glamp Stitchalot in Michigan, and at QuiltCon 2016 in Pasadena, CA.

From Jeni's blog: "Finding ways to be creative every day is an important part of my life, whether it be through my sewing and quilting, photography, fabric design or blogging. I love nothing more than to be surrounded by fabric, and my favorite part of the sewing process is choosing colors. I love figuring out how to make things work as well as designing my own patterns."  You can read more about Jeni and her patterns and fabric on her website: In Color Order.

Please mark your calendars and join us Sunday, October 11 at 1:00pm for our monthly meeting and Jeni's lecture and trunk show!

We hope to see YOU there!
