Color Wheel Quilt Class

If you were you lucky enough to be at our July 2015 meeting when Kelly taught us about the Elements and Principles of Design including the color wheel, then this graphic should look familiar...

Now look at this amazing color wheel quilt that Kelly found online last week! After a little research we learned that the pattern is available as an online instructional program, and if CLMQG has at least 5 members that wish to register and participate, they will each be entitled to a 25% discount on the program!!

The finished quilt measures 60" square and is a great way to use up fabric scraps. Techniques learned in the online lessons include bias applique, foundation piecing, raw-edge and turned-edge applique, English paper piecing, improvisational piecing, and quilt-as-you-go. Whew - that's a whole lot of skills! You can find all of the details about the program and register here. Registration gives you lifetime access to the pattern templates and lessons.

If we have enough interest and participants within the guild membership it could be fun to hold some fabric fat-eighths swaps by color.

So who's in? Email us at crystallakemqg (at) gmail (dot) com, and we'll send you the discount code to use when you register.

You know you want to make this fantastic quilt!!
